My name is Valerie Tiscareno, I was born and raised in Los Angeles County with a big and lively family. I'm an avid lover of the color green, coffee, dogs, the ocean, and climbing. Currently, I attend the University of Missouri as a Journalism student with an emphasis on photojournalism and documentary.
 
I've been doing photography for about 5 years now but I've always had a passion and curiosity for it since I was a kid. I'm still trying to figure out what is my photography style but I hope that my projects uncover stories and feelings that help people heal part of themselves. 
 
I currently am working in Columbia, Missouri during the fall and spring and in Los Angeles, California in the summer and winter.
